iPhone, in the third year of a three-year design cycle, may be overhauled next year; Apple Pay Later may arrive in 2023; Apple may not hold an October event  —  I've spent the last week or so testing out the iPhone 14 Pro Max, and I believe it sets the stage for larger changes next year.
